Typically one vial of water colour will be enough to dye a full head of shoulder length hair of normal thickness, if you have longer or thicker hair you may need 2 or even 3 vials for a full head application.
Once you have achieved the required colour on your lengths, you will only need one vial of water colour to address any regrowth.
