How to use

Apply a thin layer of Zao BB cream to either bare or hydrated skin. Put a small amount of the BB cream on the back of your hand, warm it with your fingertips and then dab onto your face, starting at the centre and working out towards the hairline and neck. Apply small dabs to the entire face and then blend in by lightly brushing your fingertips outwards and upwards without dragging the skin. Zao BB cream is suitable for all skin types.

Tip:

For a more matt and velvety finish apply a light dusting of Zao Mineral silk 500 foundation.

Key Ingredients

Organic Bamboo Extract

This key ingredient contains a high concentration of silica, Zao’s star ingredient. Silica stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin fibres, promoting elasticity, firmness and retention of moisture.

Organic Karanja Oil

Ideal for even the most sensitive skin, this oil has emollient properties enrich and protect dry skin, as well as purifying active ingredients to clarify skin.

Zao's 100% natural BB Cream has been tested by dermatologists for hydration. Hydration is enhanced by the use of 3 moisturising complexes, Fucocert, Pheohydrane and AQUAXYL™, which help to moisturise the skin by boosting the skin’s natural moisturising factors (NMF*), but also by limiting hydration loss due to the reinforced synthesis of lipids and proteins of the stratum corneum, leaving skin visibly soothed, restructured and more beautiful.

*NMF = Natural Moisturising Factors that enable hydration of the stratum corneum.

Fucocert

This active ingredient has properties essential for quick and easy penetration of the skins layers: soothing, moisturising, anti-aging and restructuring. Promotes soft and smooth skin.

Pheohydrane

This marine complex is ideal to instantly moisturise skin and prevent water loss. It combines a micro-algae extract rich in NMF* boosting amino acids, marine sugars and a remineralising seawater concentrate. The ideal complex to instantly moisturise the skin and prevent water loss. *NMF: Natural Moisturizing Factors – it fixes and ensures the hydration of the stratum corneum.

Aquaxyl™

Its “anti-dehydration shield” action is guaranteed by strengthening the synthesis of essential lipids and proteins involved in the organisation of the stratum corneum. It is an essential ingredient of skin hydration, boosting all the factors involved in skin hydration, leaving skin looking beautifully hydrated. The presence of Organic Aloe Vera and Glycerin enhances hydration.
